BatteryBar 3.4.0 Beta Released
BatteryBar 3.4 beta has just been released.

NEW (Pro): Added option to automatically change power scheme when connecting or disconnecting external power.

NEW (Pro): Added option to disable Aero when on battery power or below a certain percentage level.

NEW (Pro): Added option to force battery discharge and recharge rate estimation.

NEW: Added a check to make sure that the floating toolbar and taskbar toolbar versions don't run at the same time.

NEW: Added a Windows 7 Small theme

CHG: Installer now restarts explorer during upgrades so that reboots aren't required after an upgrade.

CHG: Adjusted the default theme to add more space between the top and bottom of the theme and the taskbar.

FIX: Fixed an issue where the Trial Expired message would appear more than once.

FIX: When no estimated time remaining value is available, the raw time remaining value will be shown.

FIX: Time remaining will now show 0 minutes remaining when below the Soft Minimum value.

Chris, when I use the new icon (Win 7 small theme), then it gets twisted when the icon of a different program suddenly appears in the system tray.

Also, the installer made me reboot the system, even though the explorer was restarted first.

What do you mean `twisted`?

Somewhat destroyed. It's not as tiny as at the beginning. It even becomes as large as the original Win7 bar theme after a particular program puts its icon into the system tray.

Tried to update from 3.3.3 to the beta version, installing it gave

"battery bar was unable to load stored data; battery bar will continue to operate, but your battery usage information will no be saved"

No sign of the battery bar either, though it's ticked in the Toolbars.

Tried un-installing completely and trying again, but same thing happens. The error seems to pop up just as license.txt is installed

Installed 3.3.3 again and it works fine

Running Windows 7

Can you look to see if there is a log file available?

Open My Computer and in the address bar put in: %APPDATA%\BatteryBar

Send me the file "BatteryBar.log" if it exists.

when i use "alternate between time remaining and percentage level" the level shows and the time blinks so quickly you can barely eve see that it happened. same thing happens when time is showing and tries to alternate to percent.
full lifetime shows 5:26 but time remaining shows 7:20 this battery actually lasts about 7-8 hours, i think i should downgrade to the stable version and see what happens.

A small issue with this beta. I do not use separate profiles for power schemes. When I open the graph - it is always opened with the current windows power scheme. I need to switch to <none> to show graph.
