That's odd, it works great on my system.

Please follow these steps to reproduce the error and submit a debug report:

RE: Power scheme switching doesn't work right
I've the same problem with my Lenovo S12. But it is not reproduceable. Sometimes it works, some times not.

These are my preferences: on battery balanced with aero switched off and plugged in with high performance.

Today I worked all the time plugged in. In the evening I booted my netbook with battery power. The desktop appeared with high performance but aero was switched off. I clicked the batterybar preferences, selected the power saving tab and clicked "save". Now the netbook switched to balanced power scheme but aero switched on. A very confusing behaviour...Undecided

Hope you have any suggestions...

Regards, Stefan

RE: Power scheme switching doesn't work right
Well, I've made a reboot with batterypower. When the desktop appeared aero was switched off and the power scheme set to energy save. But...

I right-clicked on the battery bar to disable the logging. While I filled the form the taskbar switched to aero. I hope you can see it in the log.
