That's very odd. Once the bar is turned on it should stay put. It works on every system I've tested it on.
As a workaround, you can add the following shortcut to your startup menu: Code: rundll32 "C:\Program Files\BatteryBar\BarExplorerHook.dll",ShowExplorerBar |

The command I provided should turn on BatteryBar. If you turn off BatteryBar manually and then run that command, you should see it turn back on. If you make a shortcut in your Startup menu it should do the same thing.

If I check "Hide BatteryBar when the battery is fully charged" - then if the BatteryBar was automatically hided - it will never appear when computer will work on batteries.

I should mark that feature as experimental. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'll see what I can do to make it more reliable.

Just to let you know, I am experiencing the same thing on an MSI Wind U100. I have created the shortcut in my Startup group and we'll see whether that works next boot-up. I have *not* set the option to hide when fully charged.

And to follow up on the immediately prior post (which is also mine), even putting that shortcut in the startup menu does not start Battery Bar Pro on reboot. Have to start it manually every time.
I did not have this problem before "upgrading" to BBP. Can I downgrade 'til you fix it? |

If you run that rundll32 command I posted manually after you login, does the toolbar appear?
You can try reinstalling a previous version, but that portion of code hasn't changed for quite some time, way back to version 2. Just uninstall and click that you want to delete your settings and profiles. Reboot. Reinstall. |

No, in fact, I'm finding that Battery Bar doesn't restart after the system goes on standby, or hibernates, or is turned off. I have taken your string and moved a shortcut to the desktop and I start it manually now. This only occurred *after* I went from BB to BBP, btw.
